Educational Training on Clean Energy Technologies                                        

          for GCE (A/L) students in Science and Technology streams in the Jaffna District

 

Training of Trainers (TOT) programme for Lecturers/demonstrators/final year special students

The University of Jaffna and Western Norway University of Applied Sciences in collaboration with the Jaffna Science Association and Provincial Department of Education, Northern Province intend to provide educational training on Clean Energy Technologies to the GCE (A/L) students in Science and Technology streams in the Jaffna District under HRNCET-CBERC project.

Applications are invited from Lecturers / demonstrators / final year special students attached to the Departments of Physics, Chemistry, Electrical Engineering and Engineering Technology, to serve as resource persons in this initiative. Applications can be submitted by filling the online form and should be submitted same on or before 16.11.2017.

The selected Lecturers/demonstrators/final year special students must attend a one-day Training of Trainers (TOT) programme on clean energy technologies (solar, wind, hydro and bioenergy technologies, etc.) to be held on 19.11.2017 (Sunday).

This outreach activity is supported by the Royal Norwegian Embassy in Sri Lanka under ‘Capacity Building and Establishment of a Research Consortium in Nanomaterials for Clean Energy Technologies(CBERC)’ project.
