International conference on Advanced Materials for Clean Energy & Health Applications (AMCEHA) – 2023

The first international conference on Advanced Materials for Clean Energy & Health Applications – 2019 (AMCEHA 2019) was organized jointly by University of Jaffna (UoJ) and Western Norway University of Applied Sciences (HVL) from 6th to 8th of February 2019 under HRNCET and CBERC projects at the university of Jaffna. Over 400 delegates, including 120 foreign delegates from more than twelve countries such as Norway, India, Canada, Australia, UK, Bangladesh, Sudan, Sweden, Finland, Egypt, China, Japan and USA participated at this unique conference. Over 180 research articles were submitted and up to 140research articles were selected for presentation after a peer-review process. Selected quality papers were also published in an Elsevier Journal: Materials Today: Proceedings.

The second international conference on Advanced Materials for Clean Energy & Health Applications (AMCEHA 2023) will be conducted on September 18 – 20, 2023 in Coimbatore Institute of Technology, Coimbatore, India (120 km from Ooty). In this conference, the following five different symposia (http://amceha2023.in/conference-theme.html) are organised.

Symposium on Solar Energy applications.
Symposium on Advanced Materials for Health Applications.
Symposium on Advanced functional materials.
Symposium on Hydrogen Energy and Storage applications.
Symposium on Modelling, Simulation & Artificial Intelligence.

In each symposium, world renowned eminent scientists will make plenary talks followed by paper presentations. Since University of Jaffna was the one of the pioneer institutions organizing the first AMCEHA 2019 international conference at University of Jaffna, Western Norway University of Applied Sciences and Coimbatore Institute of Technology have invited University of Jaffna to be one of three organising institutions. University of Jaffna is expected to provide intellectual contributions to AMCEHA 2023 through research presentations, serving as reviewers/editors in different symposia and to contribute in editing the conference proceedings.

Potential participants are encouraged to submit abstracts to the relevant symposium of the conference (http://amceha2023.in/conference-theme.html) and note down the following:

Selected abstracts presented in the conference will be invited for full paper publication which will be published after peer-review in Elsevier journals “Materials Letters”, “Elsevier Book series”, etc.
As university of Jaffna is one of the partners, authors from our university will be exempted from paying the registration fees (http://amceha2023.in/registration.html).
Local accommodation during the conference will be provided to contributing participants from Sri Lanka.
