Capacity Building and Establishment of a Research Consortium (CBERC)
in Nanomaterials for Clean Energy Technologies
Research Assistant
Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for the above post to work on a research project works under the general theme of Nanomaterials for Clean Energy and Health Applications at the Clean Energy Research Laboratory, University of Jaffna.
Selected candidates should periodically prepare progress reports and research publications as well as assist the research supervisors in all activities related to the project.
Required Qualifications and experiences:
- BSc Honours degree in Physics / Chemistry with a minimum GPA 3.0.
- MPhil degree in Physics / Chemistry
- Minimum three-year research experience in synthesis and characterization of Nanostructured Solar cells / Photo capacitor / Photocatalytic hydrogen production
Remuneration: Rs.100,000/- per month (all inclusive)
The period of appointment: 4 months from 01.09.2022
