Professor Gamini Rajapakshe (Senior Professor of Chemistry, University of Peradeniya) made a talk on Material Characterization Techniques to the final year undergraduates, research students and staff under the project on March 21, 2019 at the Department of Physics. This talk is highly commented by the staff and students of the faculty of Science, University of Jaffna. It was realized that this talk should be conducted annually to new honours degree students of Departments of Physics and Chemistry.
